Moroccan Orange Latte

How to make the coffee
Works best in a French press
1 cup of coarse coffee coffee beans
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp of cardamom
How to make the orange flower cream
1 cup coconut cream
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 teaspoons orange flower water
1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Candied orange peel, for garnish Add Fresh mint extra for garnish
Directions

First You have to make the French press. Take your coarsely ground coffee and place it inside the French press. Then add 2 1/2 cups of water or fill French press until brim. Now it’s time to add Your cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg and ginger to the hot grinds. Stir fully until the top is bubbling with a thick creama.

Let your deliciously aromatic french press sit for 4 to 5 minutes while you prepare your cream. The first step is open your can of coconut cream and add it to a bowl. Next you will want to pour in the vanilla, orange water, maple syrup and orange zest. If you have an electric hand mixer, it works really well for this recipe. If not, you can easily mix by hand with a large wooden spoon.

Please note if you are mixing by hand, it might not cream up as much initially! It often requires you to mix thoroughly for five- seven minutes before becoming the right consistency. If you want your drink cold, make sure to place your French press in the fridge for about 20 minutes before serving! If you’re interested in making this into a coffee cocktail, you can add an ounce or two of Sambuca, vodka or liquor of choice and serve over ice.

Now it’s time to assemble this drink. Take your coffee and pour one cup into a glass. Add 1-3 tbsp of the orange cream to the top! You can add a bit of orange zest, mint or cinnamon to the top for garnish! Enjoy!
