Serra Negra, or “black mountain”, is a fine variety from the South Minas region, this lovely bean exhibits some of the more nutty and chocolatey characteristics often associated with Brazilian coffees. Oak, pecan, rich tobacco, and chocolate make for a comforting yet complex fragrance and aroma, while pecan and bakers chocolate stand out in the cup. Natural processing adds a glimmer of acidity, balanced well by a velvety texture and mature sweetness.
